When I started out in the entertainment industry I was a storyboard artist. I still think of myself as a story artist first, and then everything else is second. Even when it comes to 'Dusty Sprocket', a video game, I board out levels and get caught up in story I'm going to tell. For me, when it comes to video games, story and gameplay are equals. And when it comes to storyboards, Joe Ranft has no equals. Check out his IMDB page. The guy was a HUGE talent, and a major inspiration for me growing up. Tragically he died in a car accident in 2005, but his stories will always remain.
